About TRY Osteopathy
Hi, I’m Tim Royston Young. Registered Osteopath (9287)

I’ve always believed that the human body has an incredible capacity to heal—sometimes, it just needs a little nudge to find its balance again.

My introduction to osteopathy came early. As a clumsy but highly active boy, I found myself with various sports injuries, and osteopathic care always seemed to work for me instantly. That firsthand experience stuck with me, ultimately inspiring me to pivot to a second career as an osteopath after 20 years in the construction industry. I wanted a profession where I could help people by truly listening to them, treating the whole person rather than just a set of isolated symptoms.

Graduating with a Master’s degree from the London School of Osteopathy in 2015, I now have over 10 years of clinical experience. Throughout this time, I have learned to never just look at where it hurts, but to uncover why it hurts. To provide the best possible care, I have dedicated myself to continuous learning, completing advanced training in highly advanced manipulative therapy, Western medical acupuncture, pregnancy-related musculoskeletal care, and chronic pain management.

Whether you are dealing with chronic lower back pain from long hours at a desk, recovering from an injury, navigating the physical changes of pregnancy, or managing complex, long-term conditions, my passion is to help you understand your body and get you back to doing what you love. By combining traditional osteopathy with modern pain science and targeted modalities like acupuncture, we work together to get to the root of the problem.

Every treatment plan we create together is completely tailored to your lifestyle, your comfort level, and your unique goals.

Outside the Clinic

Outside of work, I am quite literally outside! I am a big believer in the healing power of being out in nature, whether that’s by the land, sea, or mountains. I like to practice what I preach by staying active, so you can usually find me out on the water sailing, tackling my latest house and garden projects, or exploring the outdoors with my dogs. That said, I also value chilling with them on the sofa (if they let me!) because true rest is just as important as movement.
